Market Pantry is one of Target's exclusive private label grocery brands that was in desperate need of a rebrand to bring it up to a level where it fits in better with its parent brand. Overall the goal was to give the brand a wholesome, clean, and friendly look that didn't feel so dry and generic. As the first step in the rebranding a new identity set of stationary, envelopes, and business cards were designed.
The second step in the rebrand involved creating new packaging that aligned with the updated logo. The packaging was given a simple clean look using original photography that is artistic while still focusing on the ingredients themselves. Each box was divided up into 4 sections of 2 servings each with a perforated tab at the top to make it easy to open the box and pour out portions of pasta. This further aligns the Market Pantry with parent company Target, which is known for its use of creative ads to present everyday goods in a stylish manner.
